Ravnica Block Constructed
This is a placeholder for a Ravnica Block Constructed guide.
The Block Constructed format uses only the cards from a single block of Magic sets. Block Constructed formats generally take their name from the first set in the block. For example, the Scars of Mirrodin, Mirrodin Beseiged, and New Phyrexia sets make up the Scars of Mirrodin block. The smaller card pool of Block Constructed poses an interesting challenge for players. It also provides an opportunity to enjoy the setting of one of the Multiverse's planes in a focused environment. With the exception of basic land cards (and Relentless Rats), a player's combined deck and sideboard may not contain more than four copies of any individual card, counted by its English card name (note: Snow-Covered basic lands are only permitted in formats that allow cards from Ice Age block constructed sets.) Constructed decks must contain a minimum of sixty cards. There is no maximum deck size; however, you must be able to shuffle your deck with no assistance. If a player wishes to use a sideboard, it must contain exactly fifteen cards.
